Ratcliffian Fencing Success for Siblings
Congratulations to Old Ratcliffians Niamh and Finn Noble in their fencing accomplishments! Finn has been selected for a further 2 Great Britain squads, one this weekend in Grenoble and one in Copenhagen at the end of the month. We are delighted to announce that Niamh has been selected for the U20 Great Britain squad for the World Cup event which takes place in Laupheim in Germany on 23rd November.
Niamh’s coach at Hartpury College, John Rees, who is also the Great Britain Head Coach and knows both of them well had this to say:
“This is Niamh’s first time at this level and will be great experience as she looks to develop in the U20/U23 age groups it will give her a real benchmark as to her ongoing training and development.
Finn has a great chance to test himself in Europe against some of the best in the world at U17. It will be a great experience for him and hopefully the beginning of many!”
