International Boarding

As a long standing International British Boarding School, we offer exceptional facilities and pastoral support. The combination of comfort and safety, together, with a diverse and nurturing community mean that International students are provided with a place they can call their home.

Our 18 members off staff on site living at Ratcliffe provide all-round support to our boarding community. We understand how important it is to give wrap-around care to help your child feel safe and enjoy their time at school as they study and live.

In addition to the caring staff, boarders also have a wide range of activities and trips at evenings and weekends, allowing them to help make lifelong friendships and have fun outside of the classroom.

Our beautiful campus is perfectly located, providing a great place to live and learn, with a busy and exciting city just a short bus ride away. With over multi-million pounds invested in new facilities in recent years, you will get the very best of both worlds – a rural campus experience with modern state-of-the-art facilities in close proximity to major transport routes.

To ensure high standards are maintained, we strongly recommend that Guardians should be registered with AEGIS (the Association of Educational Guardians in Independent Schools). In order that they are able to effectively carry out their responsibilities, we also require that they should live fairly close to the School (within a 1 hour drive of the School: perhaps 40 miles/65 kilometres).
