We are thrilled to announce an exciting, transformative refurbishment project taking place in the College’s Emery Library during Summer 2024. The historic Library stands at the heart of the campus – a beacon of academic excellence and innovation, serving students and staff every day.
The Ratcliffe College Library Appeal has been set up to help fund a vibrant learning space for our young people. With your donations, we would like to transform the traditional Library setting into an inspirational, purpose-built educational hub with modern-day features.
We hope to raise £50,000 by July 2024, with the support and generosity from the school community.
Development Manager, Mrs Liston commented,
“I am absolutely delighted to announce the launch of the Library Appeal to the Ratcliffe College community. The plans for this transformative project are rather exciting and I would encourage everyone to take a look and see for yourselves. What’s even more thrilling is that every single donor will be given the unique opportunity to etch their names into the very fabric of our library’s interior, creating a timeless legacy that will inspire generations to come.”
Plans for the refurbished Library include contemporary furniture, reading booths, and cutting-edge technology, creating an environment where Ratcliffe students can thrive and excel in their studies, for many years to come.
Building on our Reading Matters initiative, designed to get all students reading for pleasure, this new environment will help to encourage and inspire many more students to make reading a part of their daily routine.
Together, we can create a space that fosters a legacy of learning, curiosity, and personal growth.
