Mr Turner’s Story

Hello, my name is Dave Turner and I am one of the Assistant Housemasters here at Ratcliffe, I have also taught here in for sixteen years.

I feel as though I am in a fortunate and unique position in that I teach in the Preparatory School during the day and then get to work with the older students in the Boarding House during the evenings and at weekends. This certainly helps me to support the younger members of the house in particular as they join us at what can be quite a traumatic and emotional time for them.

During my time here I have seen a lot of changes that have helped the boarding community evolve into the wonderful place that it is today but there is still that fundamental value of community at the heart and soul of everything we do.
