Prep School Sports Report – 20th September

Date: Wednesday 19th September

On Wednesday 19th September, the U11A team had their first Hockey fixture of the year – a tournament at Fairfield. The girls started with a tough match against Foremarke Hall, but soon found their rhythm and game in their 2nd match against Leicester Grammar, with a 2-0 win. There was one more match to go in their group against Fairfield, which we knew would be tough and in the last few minutes Fairfield scored a sneaky goal. The final score was 1-0. We look forward to meeting them again later in the season where we will hopefully reverse the score! In the play-offs, the girls played Fairfield’s B team and finished with 2-0 win. Well done to all girls. Some great passing and shots on goals and lots to build upon as we head into a very busy season.
